Wake County Schools Move to Block Controversial Epstein Themed Game
Wake County Public School System officials are taking steps to block access to an online game referencing Jeffrey Epstein after it was reported by school staff.
The game, Five Nights at Epstein’s, is playable directly in a web browser, allowing students to access it without installing software on school computers. That format can make it easier to bypass some security alerts tied to downloads.
The district said it received two reports about the game. One case has already been addressed and the hosting site has been blocked on district managed devices. Officials are still working to identify and restrict additional links associated with the game.
School leaders say both school issued devices and personal devices connected to the district network are subject to internet filtering. They added that schools continue to promote responsible technology use and address concerns through existing policies and student supports.
Just curious…

Free Breakfast and Meal Kits Planned for Cary’s Unsheltered Community
Mama Edna’s Thrift Shop is planning a pop up breakfast and pantry event in Cary to support people experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. The event will take place on March 7 in the organization’s side parking lot.
Breakfast will be provided by the nonprofit Roots With Purpose, while volunteers will also distribute shelf stable meal kits that attendees can take with them.
Organizers are asking local residents to help spread the word and share ideas on how to connect with people who may benefit. They are also exploring transportation options that could make it easier for people to attend, including potential support from the GoCary bus system.

The goal is to provide both a warm meal and additional food resources while strengthening connections between community organizations and residents in need. See Original Post
