Free Cultural Celebration Comes to Cary This Sunday

Basant Bahar 2026 brings an afternoon of professionally choreographed dance, live music, and powerful storytelling to the Cary Arts Center — celebrating Indian heritage and the arrival of spring.
Admission is free.
Hum Sub will present Basant Bahar 2026 on Sunday, March 8, at the Cary Arts Center, bringing an afternoon of cultural performances and spiritual reflection to Cary.
This year’s theme — Dharma: A Spiritual Awakening — explores the meaning of duty and moral courage through the lives of Swami Vivekananda and Rani Ahilyabai Holkar. The program highlights how both figures transformed faith into action and service, leaving lasting legacies of compassion and social reform.
