Six mature-friendly shades. One mascara that actually stays put.

Most mascaras promise length… then leave you with smudges, flakes, and clumps by lunchtime.

That’s why so many 50+ women are switching to PrimeLash.

It’s a tubing mascara designed for your lashes, wrapping each one to lift, define, and separate...even the ones that might be too small to see.

And when it’s time to take PrimeLash off? It slides right off with warm water. No rubbing or irritation.

From everyday black to soft brown, plus bold shades like Emerald, Burgundy, and Mulberry… there’s a color for every kind of day.

Get longer-looking lashes with zero smudge. Finally.

10,000 Gallons of Wastewater Spill

Aqua North Carolina, a Cary-based water utility, said about 10,000 gallons of wastewater spilled into an unnamed tributary of Upper Barton Creek in northern Wake County.

The spill happened between April 29 and May 13 near Glenfiddich Way and Glenlivet Way. The company notified the North Carolina Division of Water Resources on Thursday.

The incident is under review by state officials. Aqua North Carolina said it has taken steps to reduce the impact of the spill and repair the affected area.

The notification followed a much larger spill reported Wednesday, when 1.1 million gallons of wastewater entered Brier Creek and a storm drain near Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

Just curious..

A second wastewater spill was reported in Wake County this week. What concerns you most about incidents like these?

Proposed Cary Budget Includes Higher Taxes, Utility and Trash Fees

Interim Cary Town Manager Russ Overton introduced a proposed $573 million budget for the town’s 2027 fiscal year, centered on long-term planning for staffing, infrastructure and financial management.

The budget would direct nearly $446 million toward town operations and about $128 million toward capital projects, including road work, parks and public amenities. Town leaders say the proposal reflects a three-year strategy to manage rising costs and future growth.

The plan also responds to concerns over past financial mismanagement. Cary plans to add two finance department positions and continue revising internal procedures to improve accountability and transparency.

To support the budget, residents would see higher costs across several areas. Property taxes, utility rates and solid waste fees would all increase if the proposal is approved before the fiscal year begins July 1.

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
A: Michael Collins

Michael Collins is the Apollo 11 astronaut who did not walk on the Moon. As the command module pilot, he remained in orbit aboard Columbia while Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the lunar surface. Collins was responsible for orbiting the Moon alone for over 21 hours and safely piloting the ship back to Earth.

He was often referred to as the "The Loneliest Man In History" because, during his orbits on the far side of the Moon, he was completely cut off from all human contact.
