5 Practical Wellness Tips for Heart Health
February is American Heart Month, and supporting your heart does not have to feel complicated. These five tips are meant to meet you where you are and help you stay consistent in February, even when life feels full. When it comes to heart health, consistency matters far more than perfection.
Walk regularly to support circulation and heart strength
Walking is one of the most effective and underrated ways to support heart health. Regular walking helps improve circulation, supports healthy blood pressure, and strengthens the heart muscle over time. Even 10 to 20 minutes a day counts. Consistency matters far more than pace, distance, or intensity.Prioritize fiber for cholesterol and blood sugar support
Fiber plays a key role in heart health by helping manage cholesterol levels and supporting stable blood sugar. Diets higher in fiber are linked with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease. Aim to add fiber gradually through foods like beans, lentils, vegetables, berries, seeds, and whole grains rather than trying to change everything at once.Manage stress to protect your heart
Chronic stress has a direct impact on heart health by increasing inflammation and placing ongoing strain on the cardiovascular system. Simple stress-supporting habits like slow breathing, short pauses between tasks, or a few minutes of quiet before bed can help regulate your nervous system and support heart health over time.Keep sleep timing consistent
Sleep supports heart health by allowing your body to regulate blood pressure, inflammation, and hormone balance. Going to bed and waking up at roughly the same time most days helps reinforce your body’s natural rhythms. Even small improvements in sleep consistency can positively impact energy and cardiovascular health.Use targeted supplements to support heart health and consistency
Certain nutrients play an important role in supporting the heart and cardiovascular system. Omega-3 fatty acids help support healthy triglyceride levels and reduce inflammation. Magnesium supports heart rhythm, muscle function, and stress response. CoQ10 plays a role in cellular energy production and is especially important for heart muscle function. Antioxidants help protect cells from oxidative stress. The most effective supplement routine is one that is simple, well chosen, and easy to take consistently.

Four Food Products Recalled Nationwide
In the past week, four food recalls have been issued in the U.S., primarily as precautionary actions to address safety concerns related to contamination or allergen labeling errors.
Gerber voluntarily recalled its Arrowroot Biscuits due to potential foreign material in the product, which could endanger young children.
Spring & Mulberry expanded a recall of its chocolate bars over possible Salmonella contamination, broadening the scope from an earlier alert.
Koikoi Trading recalled frozen fish balls containing undeclared wheat and sesame, allergens that can pose serious risks if consumed unknowingly. Though no adverse reactions have been reported, the products were distributed in multiple states, raising broader public health concerns.
Costco also pulled mini beignets from shelves after discovering a packaging error that failed to note the presence of hazelnuts. This kind of mislabeling poses a direct risk to those with tree nut allergies.
Consumers are advised to review any affected products they may have purchased and to return or dispose of them as directed. Official FDA recall notices provide full product and lot details.
How do you typically respond when you hear about a food recall?

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
A: None
The North Pole has no official time zone because all 24 lines of longitude converge at that single point. It is located in international waters on moving sea ice rather than land, so travelers and expeditions generally use Greenwich Mean Time (GMT/UTC) or the time zone of their supply base.
