A Better Way to Focus

“Dr. Estelle is an absolute sunbeam — a brilliant blend of warmth, wisdom, and energy. Through her work, she helps people reconnect with balance and wellbeing in a way that feels empowering, approachable, and real.” - WBON Triangle
On most days, juggling multiple responsibilities feels unavoidable. Whether it’s managing dinner, writing an email, helping a child locate their uniform, or trying to remember what you forgot, the pressure to multitask can be overwhelming.
While multitasking may seem efficient, it actually drains mental energy. Switching between tasks requires the brain to work harder, which increases cortisol levels and contributes to stress. Rather than boosting productivity, this habit often leaves people feeling scattered and fatigued.
Shifting to a more focused approach can help the brain perform better and reduce the daily mental load.
Here are a few ways to support your focus and well-being:
✔ Single task your priorities. Set a timer for 20–30 minutes and give one thing your full attention.
✔ Batch the small stuff. Keep emails, messages, or errands grouped together instead of letting them interrupt your day.
✔ Even two minutes of fresh air, stretching, or deep breathing can help reset your focus.
Handling tasks with clarity and presence not only improves outcomes but also helps preserve your energy for what matters most.
Bridging the Nutrition Gap: While steady energy and mental clarity start with a nourishing diet, it’s not always easy to meet your nutrient needs through food alone. To support your focus and overall well-being, I offer a curated selection of high-quality supplements on my online platform, with exclusive discounts for community members.
Check out Dr Estelle’s favorites in her Fullscript store or book a Live Well Consultation for personalized recommendations that fit your unique needs.

Cary Program for Dementia Support
A special program tailored for individuals with dementia and their care partners is scheduled at Downtown Cary Park on November 14. Running from 10:30 a.m. to noon, the event invites participants to explore the park through a series of interactive stations that incorporate nature, art, and local history.
The program promotes social interaction, gentle physical activity, and creativity, with accommodations in place for those using wheelchairs or walkers. It is structured to be inclusive and welcoming for all attendees.
Participation requires individual registration for both guests and their care partners. Care partners are expected to stay for the duration, as this is not a drop-off service. Organizers will provide further logistical and accessibility information before the event.
This initiative reflects an ongoing effort to provide thoughtful, accessible programming for all members of the community.
