Five Food Products Recalled Nationwide

Several U.S. food recalls have been announced in the past week due to health and safety concerns. Dollar General pulled three batches of Clover Valley Instant Coffee because of possible glass fragments, urging customers to dispose of the product and seek refunds.

Wegmans and Fromi USA each recalled specific cheese products due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The Wegmans recall covers multiple soft cheeses sold across several states, while the Fromi USA recall targets Brie Royal Faucon distributed in Brooklyn.

Ohio-based Middlefield Original Cheese Co‑Op recalled a range of cheeses including Monterey Jack and White Cheddar over similar Listeria concerns. These products were locally distributed, and no illnesses have been reported.

Separately, Quesito El Establo’s Quesito Colombiano cheese was recalled in Massachusetts following reports of rodent activity and other unsanitary conditions at its production facility. Consumers are advised to return or discard affected products to avoid health risks.

How do you typically respond when you hear about a food recall?

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
The Hepatitis B vaccine is commonly given to newborns shortly after birth to protect against Hepatitis B, a viral infection that can cause serious liver disease, including cirrhosis and liver cancer. Administering the vaccine early provides critical protection for infants, especially since the virus can be passed from mother to child during childbirth. It is the first vaccine in many children’s immunization schedules worldwide.
