Highly recommend. Arrived quickly and captured the copperhead in our garage to relocate. Loved that the snake was described as a “nuisance” on the relocation form and hope he is living happily far away from me.” - Susan Schock

Special Olympics Brings Wake County Together

The Special Olympics Spring Games returned to Wake County with over 100 students from local high schools competing in events that ranged from track races to softball throws. Held at Green Level High School, the event fostered a celebratory atmosphere built on participation, teamwork, and support. Students walked in an opening ceremony before heading off to their events, cheered on by friends, teachers, and district leaders.

Green Level High was recently named a National Banner Unified Champion School by Special Olympics, a designation that recognizes efforts to unite students with and without disabilities through inclusive programs. This year's games reflected that spirit, not only in competition but in the collective joy of a day spent together.

From athletic feats to shared high-fives, the games offered a meaningful reminder that when communities come together around inclusivity, everyone crosses the finish line a winner. Read Full Report

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇

The small plastic or metal tip at the end of a shoelace is called an aglet. Though tiny, aglets serve an important purpose: they keep the lace from fraying and make it easier to thread through eyelets. The concept dates back to Roman times, when aglets were often made of metal or glass and even used as decorative items. Today, they’re a humble but essential part of everyday footwear.
