Cybersecurity Alert: Personal Data of Billions Leaked Online

In a potentially unprecedented data breach, a hacking group has obtained the Social Security numbers of every American, along with additional personal information from nearly 3 billion people.

The compromised data, taken from National Public Data, a background check firm, includes names, addresses, birthdates, and phone numbers. This sensitive information was subsequently released on an online marketplace, exposing individuals to significant risks of identity theft and other forms of cybercrime.

As digital vulnerabilities continue to rise with the increasing online presence of personal data, experts emphasize the importance of vigilance in data security. U.S. companies typically notify affected individuals and offer identity protection services, though no federal law mandates such actions.

For continuous personal data monitoring, resources like Have I Been Pwned and Malwarebytes' Digital Footprint Portal are recommended. These tools can help individuals determine if their personal information has been compromised or is being sold on the dark web, providing a critical defense against potential fraud and theft. The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇

The watermelon was once colloquially known as the "elephant apple" due to its large size and hard outer rind, which resembles the thick skin of an elephant.

This juicy, sweet fruit, believed to have originated in Africa over 5,000 years ago, has been a refreshing treat throughout history. Over the centuries, watermelons have been cultivated into the various sizes and types we know today, ranging from the small "personal" melons to those that can weigh as much as an elephant's head, further justifying their quirky historical nickname.

For more interesting historical details and facts about watermelons, you can visit the Watermelon Board's official website, which offers a wealth of information about the fruit's history, varieties, and nutritional benefits.
