Monday's total solar eclipse, a celestial highlight of 2024, captivated millions who found themselves in the path of totality—a rare zone where the moon fully obscures the sun. Despite occasional cloud cover, the event delivered stunning scenes for enthusiastic sky-watchers.

Those who missed the spectacle or are eager for another can checkout other locations on the globe.

NASA anticipates an annular solar eclipse on October 2, where spectators in Chile and Argentina will witness a striking "ring of fire" as the moon partially covers the sun. Furthermore, on August 2, 2027, another total eclipse is expected to unfold spectacularly over Egypt's pyramids, providing an extended six minutes of totality.

Here are additional upcoming total solar eclipses, charting courses that will captivate travelers worldwide:

• July 22, 2028: Australia and New Zealand

• November 25, 2030: Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho, Australia

Avelo Airlines Hits 250,000 Customer Mark at RDU, Launches New Promotions and Routes

Avelo Airlines has reached a notable milestone at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in the Research Triangle, serving over 250,000 customers since its debut in 2022. The Ritz Carlton Lemon Pound Cake 😋

The only from scratch Lemon Pound Cake recipe you will ever need! It tastes amazing! This recipe never lets me down. Great dessert for a crowd. Serve with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit.

📋 Ingredients List:

• 3 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 Tbsp baking powder

• ¾ tsp salt

• 3 cups sugar

• 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

• ½ cup shortening, room temperature

• 5 large eggs

• 1 cup whole milk

• 6 Tbsp lemon juice

• 1 lemon, zested

📝 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray or butter and flour a 15-cup Bundt pan.

2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into medium bowl. Set aside.

3. Using an electric mixer, cream together butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating until well blended after each one.

4. Add dry ingredients in three additions to butter mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat at low speed just until blended after each addition. Mix in lemon juice and zest.

5. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake cakes until tester inserted into center comes out clean, about 55 minutes. Cool cakes in pans for 15 minutes. Turn cakes out onto racks and cool completely.

Notes 💡:

• DO NOT fill your pans to the very top or the cake will overflow!

• I use a 15-cup Bundt pan. It also works in a Tube Pan.

• If you are using a 12-cup or 10-cup Bundt pan, make sure to leave at least 1-inch to 1½ inches unfilled. You may have leftover batter.

• Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 55 minutes | Total Time: 65 minutes
