United Flight Bound for Japan Diverted After Tire Falls Off During Takeoff

On Thursday, shortly after departing from San Francisco International Airport, United Flight 35 experienced a tire loss from its landing gear, causing the plane to be diverted to Los Angeles International Airport.

The aircraft landed safely without any injuries to passengers or crew. The fallen tire debris caused minor property damage in an airport parking lot.

United Airlines commended the professionalism of its flight and ground crew, promising to address the damages incurred. The FAA will investigate the incident, and passengers were provided with an alternative flight to reach Osaka.

Salmon Wellington might be familiar to you under another name, Salmon en Croute. "En croute" is a French expression that describes any dish encased in puff pastry and then baked to perfection, that’s what Salmon Wellington is!

Similar to other dishes in the Wellington family, like beef Wellington, salmon Wellington consists of a salmon fillet, frequently layered with a savory filling, encased in pastry dough, and baked until it achieves a golden brown hue.

Make this salmon Wellington recipe with less than ten ingredients for a crowd-pleasing, restaurant-worthy dinner that's easy to make! Print Recipe

Ingredients:

• Salmon – Use large, thick filets, and make sure they’re fully thawed.

• Puff Pastry – Like the salmon, you want to make sure your puff pastry is thawed.

• Large Egg – Beat this in a bowl to use as an egg wash, preventing the pastry from becoming soggy and creating a beautiful golden exterior.

• Cream Cheese – Use brick-style cream cheese, not tub varieties! Full-fat is best.

• Frozen Spinach – We recommend using frozen spinach over fresh spinach as it’s already finely chopped. Make sure it’s thawed and drained well.

• Mozzarella Cheese – Feel free to experiment with any cheese you like best.

• Salt and Black Pepper – Adjust to taste.
