Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months

That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.

Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.

Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.

New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.

Cary’s Soccer Tourism Scores a $16.2 Million Economic Win

The Soccer Tournament's fourth year in Cary generated an estimated $16.2 million in direct economic impact, according to the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The six-day event featured 76 teams, more than 2,000 athletes and 159 matches, attracting 57,942 attendees. More than 34,000 visitors came from outside Wake County, including over 23,000 overnight visitors.

The tournament generated an estimated 22,385 hotel room nights and more than $607,000 in direct local tax revenue. Its estimated economic impact increased about 10 percent from $14.7 million in 2025.

The numbers highlight Cary's growing role as a destination for major sporting events and the potential benefits for hotels, restaurants and other local businesses when thousands of visitors come to town.

Cary Begins Overhaul of Financial Oversight Following Audit Findings

Cary Town Council received public accounting training Thursday as part of the town's response to a state audit that raised concerns about spending practices, financial oversight and fund balance levels.

The audit found Cary's savings fell below required minimum levels in fiscal years 2023 and 2024. The state auditor issued 39 recommendations aimed at strengthening the town's financial practices and oversight.

Cary has already implemented new requirements governing certain budget amendments and transfers. Additional proposals include greater review of council travel expenses, annual reaffirmation of ethics requirements and potential changes involving reimbursements and benefits.

Many recommendations are expected to be implemented by February 2027, with some extending into May. Cary residents can monitor the town's progress through its public Moving Forward dashboard.

Just curious…

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
A: "at one's pleasure" or "as you desire"

ad libitum, which literally translates to "at one's pleasure" or "as you desire".

Breaking down the Latin roots:Ad means "to" or "at."Libitum comes from libere, meaning "to please" or "to desire".

While it originally appeared as a musical notation allowing performers the freedom to alter the tempo or improvise at their own discretion, it evolved in modern English to describe any form of unscripted or spontaneous improvisation.
