Question: The Plato Scale is used specifically in the making of what beverage?
(Answer at the bottom of the newsletter.)
I'm 63 With $1.5M. Can I Spend $10K a Month?
You’ve saved $1.5 million. Now comes the real test.
Can it produce $10,000 a month, or will that pace drain your portfolio?
Most retirees do not get a clear answer until it is too late.
The issue is not just how much you have. It is whether your portfolio was built to pay you, not just grow.
That difference can determine whether your money lasts decades or starts breaking down early.
Sequence of returns, taxes on withdrawals, healthcare costs, and whether the 4% rule still applies all play a role.
Fiduciary advisors created a breakdown showing what drives sustainable income and why the same $1.5M can produce very different outcomes.
If you have $1M or more invested, do not guess.

NC Courage Win Seven-Goal Thriller
The North Carolina Courage kept their momentum rolling with a thrilling 4-3 road victory over the Washington Spirit on Saturday. After watching a three-goal lead disappear, the Courage found one final answer as captain Natalie Jacobs delivered a stoppage-time winner.
⚽ Jacobs wins it late: The Spirit completed a second-half comeback to tie the match 3-3 in the 90th minute, but Natalie Jacobs responded deep into stoppage time. She connected with a pass from Feli Rauch and scored the winner, giving the Courage all three points and improving their record to 9-6-3.
🔥 Courage race to historic start: Ashley Sanchez scored just 1:27 into the match for her 11th goal of the season and 30th career goal. Evelyn Ijeh followed with goals in the 9th and 15th minutes, giving North Carolina the fastest 3-0 lead in club history at 14:13.
⚡ Spirit storm back: Washington refused to fold, with Trinity Rodman and Sofia Cantore scoring shortly after halftime. Rebeca Bernal completed the comeback in the 90th minute before Jacobs turned the match back in North Carolina's favor.
🏟️ Next up in Cary: The Courage return to First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park on Sunday, Aug. 16, to host the Houston Dash. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., giving Cary fans another chance to see one of the league's hottest attacks at home.

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
A: Beer
The Plato Scale is used specifically in the making of beer to measure the concentration of dissolved sugar (extract) in the unfermented liquid, known as wort. One degree Plato (°P) equals one percent sucrose by weight in a solution. Each 1°P roughly yields about 0.4% alcohol by volume (ABV) after fermentation.
