Search Continues for Missing Cary Woman
Elizabeth Waddell, a Cary physical therapist, has been missing since July 22 after she was last seen at Grand Anse Beach in Grenada.
Her husband, Cailen Waddell, and several family members traveled to the island to help search for her but returned home Friday after nearly a week of efforts. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing and have not indicated any signs of foul play.
In a message shared before leaving Grenada, Cailen Waddell thanked the many people who supported the search and expressed hope as authorities continue their work.

The rest of the field was tightly bunched in single digits, suggesting Cary's smaller neighborhood parks each have loyal but modest followings. One reader used the "Other" option to shout out North Cary Park, a name worth keeping on the radar for a future poll.
