Publix Recalls All GreenWise Frozen Berries Over Possible E. Coli Risk
Publix is recalling all GreenWise Organic Frozen Blueberries and GreenWise Organic Whole Mixed Berries because they may be contaminated with E. coli.
The recall applies to all lot codes of both products. The frozen berries were sold at Publix stores in eight states, including North Carolina.
Publix removed the products from store shelves in June after an earlier recall involving a single lot code. The recall has now been expanded to include all lots.
Customers who purchased the affected frozen berries should not eat them. Instead, they should throw the products away or return them to Publix for a refund.
E. coli infections can cause severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting. While most healthy people recover within about a week, young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems are at greater risk for serious complications.

Cary Art Loop's Final Friday Returns With Music, Art and Fire Show
Looking for something fun to do Friday night? Head to downtown Cary for Final Friday, featuring a community drum circle, live entertainment, and a fire performance.
One Tribe Rhythms & Friends will host its monthly family-friendly drum circle from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Old Library Site, 310 S. Academy St., next to the Ivey-Ellington House. The evening includes drumming, singing, low-impact West African dances, and a fire spinning performance by Caroleeena & Friends beginning around 8 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own drum or percussion instrument, or borrow one on-site. No experience is necessary, and chairs will be available.
The event is part of the Cary Art Loop's Final Friday Art Crawl, which takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. throughout downtown Cary. Visitors can also explore local galleries, enjoy live music, and experience special activities hosted by area businesses and artists.
Admission is free.
