Indecent Exposure at Cary Salon Leads to Arrest of Raleigh Man

North Carolina is under a winter weather advisory as it anticipates a diverse storm this Saturday, which is predicted to bring snow, freezing rain, and predominantly cold rain across the state.

Areas northwest of the Triangle and near the Virginia border could see a brief period of freezing rain early Saturday, posing travel risks. The mountains and foothills are expected to face the most significant impacts, with higher ice accumulation.

UNC Icon Julius Peppers Earns Spot in College Football Hall of Fame

Julius Peppers, a former UNC football star and NFL legend, has been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

He is the 10th UNC representative and the seventh player from the university to be honored. His remarkable college career, highlighted by leading the nation in sacks and tackles for loss in 2000, and winning major awards in 2001, set the stage for his successful 17-season NFL career with the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers.
