DWI Charge for Driver after SUV Crashes into Cary Children's Barbershop

On Christmas Eve in Cary, North Carolina, a distressing event unfolded as an SUV, driven by an individual now facing charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI), plowed into Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids, a barbershop catering to children.

The incident, occurring in the afternoon, led to the vehicle being lodged entirely within the shop, located in the Saltbox Village shopping area.

Thankfully, the establishment was closed, and no injuries were reported. Despite the absence of physical harm to the driver, the event has prompted a thorough examination of the building for potential structural damage.

Following the incident, Cary police apprehended the driver and charged her with DWI, leaving the community in shock and awaiting further details.
