The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
The town’s best known entity during the 1970’s was the Cary High School Marching Band. The band seemed to be performing everywhere: in President Nixon’s inaugural parade, at the Orange Bowl, at the Cotton Bowl, in the Macy’s Parade, at the Kentucky Derby, and the Rose Bowl. In 1974, the Cary High School Marching Band represented the United States in Switzerland at the Fetes de Geneve.
The band once had five invitations for one Saturday. (Around about Cary, p162)
