“The Ravioli Pasticciati is sublime!” “Excellent Italian food.” “Authenticity- the wines and the calamari. Love the outdoor seating. ”
“Love it here - we are regulars. Italian wines, perfect pizzas, fab calamari and outdoor seating across from the gardens and waterfalls.”
“Every Enrigo experience is special for us. Dali, our favorite server, works hard to make us feel like he just invited us to dinner. We have taken to ordering from the specials menu most visits. Last week we enjoyed a fabulous veal with mushrooms. The fresh calamari for our appetizer was delicious. Enrigo also has an excellent wine list. Buon Appetito!”
“The lasagna with Bechamel base sauce is delicious! I have had many fine meals at Enrigo's!”
“This is a great place. It's big enough so they usually have room for you for a quick meal. The food is excellent with good Italian special dishes. We ate there Christmas eve when all the other restaurants were closed. ”
“I love the food and love the staff! Feels like sitting in a family restaurant in Italy!”

Wake Parents Question School Photo Contracts After Epstein File Reference
Concerns are emerging among Wake County parents after newly unsealed court documents named Leon Black, the former CEO of Apollo Global Management, in connection with Jeffrey Epstein. Apollo-managed funds later acquired Shutterfly, the parent company of school photography brands Lifetouch and Jostens.
While there is no allegation involving the photography companies themselves, some parents say the financial link has raised red flags about student privacy and image security. A petition is circulating that calls on the district to suspend existing contracts and consider local alternatives.
Lifetouch has rejected claims of any connection to Epstein and emphasized that Apollo does not participate in its day-to-day operations or have access to student photographs. The company said its acquisition by Apollo-managed funds occurred after Epstein’s arrest and death.
Wake County Public Schools said photography contracts are determined at the school level and include protections for student images. The district is working to address parent concerns and encourages families to speak directly with school administrators.
Just curious…
Do you believe Wake County schools should reconsider their contracts with Lifetouch and Jostens following the recent concerns?
Victims Seek Refunds After Alleged Unlicensed Dental Work
Ebony Nicohole McBean, 42, of Garner is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after authorities allege she posed as a dental professional and installed braces without a license. According to warrants filed by the Raleigh Police Department, three victims paid thousands of dollars for services between late 2023 and mid-2024.
Investigators say McBean claimed she was consulting with a licensed orthodontist, though police allege she had no such affiliation. Her business, Smiling Face Company, closed last November around the time charges were filed. She was arrested Feb. 13 and released on bond the next day.
In Wake County Court on Monday, McBean waived her right to appear in person and authorized her attorney to represent her.
The alleged victims say they have since sought treatment from licensed orthodontists to correct what they describe as improperly installed braces. In addition to the criminal case, they have filed claims in small claims court in an effort to recover their financial losses. Read Full Report
