The Simple Daily Fixes for Low Energy

Feeling low on energy is a common issue, but it’s not always the result of overexertion. More often, it signals a need for better physical support. Factors like hydration, quality of sleep, stress, nutrition, and movement all influence daily energy levels in subtle yet significant ways.
Habits like not drinking enough water, prolonged sitting, and irregular eating patterns can gradually wear down energy. On the other hand, simple actions—such as walking for a few minutes, eating balanced meals, and stepping away from screens—can help replenish physical and mental energy.
Creating a rhythm of consistent self-care, especially with hydration and movement, often has a greater impact than relying solely on stimulants like caffeine. Trying a brief movement and water break when fatigue hits can often be more effective than a coffee run.
The main takeaway: sustainable energy comes from supporting the body, not pushing it beyond its limits.

FDA Recalls M&M’s, Turmeric Supplements, and Chips Ahoy!
In the past week, three major food recalls were issued in the U.S., driven by concerns over allergen labeling, contamination, and manufacturing defects.
Mars recalled repackaged M&M’s candies due to incorrect labeling that failed to list milk, soy, and peanuts as ingredients. These undeclared allergens pose a risk to individuals with food allergies. The affected products were sold in about 20 states under promotional packaging like “Make Your Mark.” Read Source
Qunol issued a recall for over 42,000 bottles of its Extra Strength Turmeric (1,000 mg) supplements following the discovery of mold contamination. The recalled bottles, available in 60- and 120-count sizes, were distributed across roughly 30 states. Read Source
Mondelez expanded its recall of Chips Ahoy! Baked Bites Brookie cookies due to a manufacturing issue that can cause the formation of corn starch clumps, creating a potential choking hazard. The expanded alert, issued on February 4, 2026, includes more UPCs and product codes than the original notice. Read Source
Consumers are advised not to consume any affected items and to return or discard them as outlined in official FDA guidance.

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
A: George Washington Carver
George Washington Carver (African-American Inventor) was a pioneering agricultural scientist who developed over 300 products derived from peanuts, including cooking oil, axle grease, and printer's ink. His innovative research not only provided alternative crops to cotton for farmers in the southern United States but also promoted sustainable agriculture and economic self-sufficiency.
Although widely credited with inventing peanut butter, Carver did not invent it; however, his extensive work popularized the versatility of peanuts in various industries.
