Creating a Wellness Routine That Actually Fits Your Life
“Dr. Estelle is an absolute sunbeam — a brilliant blend of warmth, wisdom, and energy. Through her work, she helps people reconnect with balance and wellbeing in a way that feels empowering, approachable, and real.” - WBON Triangle
Wellness routines work best when they support your life rather than compete with it. A routine that feels rigid or time consuming is often the first thing to fall apart during busy weeks.
Sustainable routines are built around habits that already exist. Anchoring a new wellness habit to something you already do reduces mental effort and increases follow through. Flexibility also matters. A routine should evolve as your schedule and needs change.
Actionable Tips
Identify one existing daily routine to use as an anchor
Add one simple wellness habit to that anchor
Create a bare minimum version of your routine
Reevaluate your routine regularly and adjust as needed
Try This This Week
Pair one wellness habit with something you already do each day, like stretching while your coffee brews or pausing to breathe before meals.
Wellness Takeaway
A routine that fits your real life is far more effective than one that feels perfect.

How to See the Monks Walk for Peace

The Walk for Peace, a spiritual journey led by Buddhist monks, is continuing its path through North Carolina and is expected to reach Raleigh by January 24. As the group proceeds through the Triangle, updates on public gatherings and route details are being shared through the Walk for Peace Facebook page and live map.
Originally, the public was invited to walk with the monks, but due to growing crowds, organizers now ask that supporters remain on the sidelines to observe quietly. The walk is meant to be a time for peaceful reflection rather than celebration. Spectators are reminded not to touch the monks or their companion, Aloka, the Peace Dog.
Aloka, a stray dog who joined the monks during a previous walk in India, is currently rehabilitating from leg surgery but will join the group at visit stops. The dog has become a symbol of the journey and maintains an online presence through dedicated Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Public visits are welcome during designated stops. On January 21 (Day 88 of the walk), the monks will stop for lunch at the Liberty Fire Department from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and rest overnight at Jordan-Matthews High School in Siler City from 6 to 9 p.m. Further details on their Raleigh stop will be announced once confirmed.
In the meantime, the public can support the monks through online donations or by offering lodging and general services via official forms. A fundraiser is also ongoing for a monk who suffered a serious injury earlier in the walk when he was struck by a car near Houston.
Local authorities are assisting with safety and traffic, and social media updates from government and law enforcement pages may provide additional updates as the walk nears Raleigh.

The Answer to the Cary Spotlight Hook Trivia Question 👇👇👇
A: 20
The Titanic had 20 lifeboats (16 standard wooden lifeboats, 2 emergency cutters, and 4 collapsible boats) with a total capacity for 1,178 people, which was only about half the number of people on board, though it met outdated legal requirements. British law required lifeboat numbers based on a ship's tonnage, not its passenger count, and the Titanic carried more than the minimum.
The insufficient number of lifeboats and the fact that many were launched partially empty contributed significantly to the massive loss of life during the sinking.
