Mastering the Art of Appliance Repair: Pear Tree's Commitment to Excellence

In a world where the lifespans of household appliances are increasingly measured in fleeting years, Pear Tree Appliance stands as a company with a mission of reliability and community spirit. Based in Clayton, NC, this locally-owned business has been a operating successfully in the community for the past nine years, providing top-tier appliance repair, maintenance, and installation services to thousands of households annually.

The brainchild of Ken Rosser, a former mechanical engineer, Pear Tree Appliance was born out of a desire to blend technical expertise with community service. With over 25 years of experience in the field, Rosser saw an opportunity to not only fix appliances but to also serve the community. "Our goal is to offer exceptional service while maintaining the highest levels of honesty and integrity," says Rosser. "We believe in diagnosing issues accurately and providing our customers with all the information they need to make informed decisions about repairs or replacements."

The companyโ€™s unique approach to customer service sets it apart. Every repair job begins with a thorough diagnosis, and if multiple issues are found, customers are given a clear comparison of repair versus replacement costs. This transparency extends to their pricing structure and the use of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) parts, ensuring high-quality repairs that last by not using cheap replacement parts.

"We stand by our work with three types of warrantiesโ€”diagnostic, labor, and partsโ€”because we trust in the quality of our service and the parts we use," Rosser explains.

Pear Tree Appliance's commitment to excellence is reflected in its glowing customer reviews. With a five-star rating on Google, customers frequently commend the company's professionalism, efficiency, and the knowledgeable team, including standout customer service representative Stephanie. One reviewer noted, "Chad and Neil were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem with our dryer quickly and had it repaired and the area cleaned up in less than an hour. Very happy with Pear Treeโ€™s service."

Beyond appliance repairs, Pear Tree is deeply invested in the local community through The Pear Tree Foundation. This initiative aims to provide learning and work experience opportunities to individuals recovering from homelessness or crisis, thereby fostering a cycle of support and growth within the community. "We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us," says Rosser. "The foundation is our way of helping individuals rebuild their lives while also addressing the skilled labor shortage in our industry."

As Pear Tree Appliance looks to the future, Rosser envisions expanding their reach while maintaining the same level of personal service that has earned them their stellar reputation. Whether itโ€™s a refrigerator, dishwasher, or central vacuum system, Pear Tree Appliance continues to be the trusted name in appliance repair for Clayton, Cary and its surrounding areas.
